PwC Consulting x Nagoya OJA partnership
This time, the professional sports team Nagoya OJA (Operating company: Nagoya King Co., Ltd. Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, President: Masahiro Katagiri) has joined PwC Consulting LLC (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Representative Executive Officer CEO: Nobuaki Otake). We have signed an analytics partner agreement in the area of data analysis centered on e-sports in Nagoya.
Nagoya OJA has been actively working on training and strengthening its players through the management of the team. As part of this, we are working to improve the data acquisition environment for sports and make effective use of it.

We will receive business support from PwC Consulting LLC to work on e-sports data analysis. The company has a team specializing in data analysis, and has been working from an early stage to support the utilization of AI and big data in business. In November 2018, we established the e-sports business promotion office, and started services such as team start-up support, performance improvement support by data analysis, and second career support for athletes.
We mainly assume the following support.
・ Performance analysis of e-sports players
Support for improving and improving performance based on data by analyzing emotions, input operations, eye movements, etc. of e-sports players who require instantaneous power and judgment by statistical methods
・ Medium- to long-term potential evaluation analysis of e-sports players
Analytical support for selections when recruiting athletes in e-sports teams and evaluation indicators used for training after joining the team
